30 Day Yoga Challenge

Many times studios offer a special discount to do the 30 day Yoga Challenge. I however am extremely cheap. $100 to me is 8 pizza's, or 6 bouquets of flowers, or 10 Elle Decor UK, or 150 chocolate bars. You can see my dilemma. Plus I'm saving up for our Portland shopping spree. I do like the idea of it though, so with Yoga matt in hand I'm going to do my own yoga challenge from the safety of my own home, amongst my flowers and chocolate bars.

Today will be Day 1. I've been feeling extremely restless and anxious lately, which I hope will dissipate as the days go on. My backs been acting up again, so I'm hoping muscle cramping will ease as well. My daily quota will be at least 45 min alternating between Hatha Yoga and Power Yoga. I'll do a post on day 30 and see if I'm a little less tightly wound. This may be asking the impossible of a Type A person, but I'll let you know how it goes!

I think we often forget our emotional, physical and spiritual well being is so closely connected. Often times we're so busy looking after everyone around us we forget to check in with ourselves. I've always found Yoga to be very restorative, so I'm hoping the daily practice will further influence that.

Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured. ~B.K.S. Iyengar

Happy Tuesday!! J xx

  1. Here is a free 30 day yoga challenge, that is very challenging!

  2. Thanks Wendy! Since these are for 5-10 minutes, I'm going to add them to my other routines. Yay!! Thanks xx

  3. What a great idea. I think this also lends itself to your house becoming a place of serenity (not that your beautiful abode is not already). A sensory memory that brings instant peace as soon as you walk in the door. I can't wait to hear how it turns out. xo.

I love your comments & read each and every one of them!!!
Thanks you!!!
